I voted for Eleanoora Rosenholm for its creepyness and black humour.
The cover is creepy, and when you think about the music and how the cover couldn't be anymore far away from the music (referring to the song "Kiltti vai tuhma, that i head from the radio one day) it gets my vote. But also at the same time, the cover couldn't be anymore accurate describing the music/project - when you think of example how far away Rättö is from Circle and Kuusumun Profeetta with this disco-belle&sebastian-tv-resistori-like-indiepop project. I can't find the right words to describe it, but i think you get the picture (maybe in finnish i could describe it better). It's the black humour and the surprising element of it. If you buy a record with a cover like this called "A portrait of a dead", it's kind of creepy when your turntable starts to play these disco-songs.
Shortly, the cover is simply just very Fonal-like you might say.
The song I heard sounded so interesting, that I had to found out what's this and i really wasn't surprised that it was from Fonal and Rättö is in the project. I'm waiting 12.12 like a little boy waits christmas eve - i'm dying to get these new releases. I've been waiting for the Paavoharju lp for example a very long time. I hope that i win so i will have some money left for christmas presents for my friends too.
It wasn't an easy pick, i really had to think between all these covers - all they have great qualities. But the new Eleanoora Rosenholm release's cover just really hit me at once, because the song "Kiltti vai tuhma" is playing in my head constantly and i'm waiting to hear the rest of the album.
